Been doing a little AB this week, just because I felt like it. Another one of those 'at the right time' weekends. (Last one like that was 2x exp for using cap sigs when I was finishing up a LSH title)

Although i am ready for an AB weekend - and need to work on my Faction title - I was kinda hoping for a PvE weekend event - oh well maybe next week

Bah, I was hoping they'd have an event for double faction (Kurz/Luxon) some time soon - but I hate AB. Doubley so on double-faction weekends.

As for weekends being a repeat, very few of them are something new, we have recycled most of the weekend ideas many times.

As for alternating, ab is more a function of pve than pvp really, as most people who say they pvp would never be speaking about ab, whereas it is 1 of the first areas many players got to kill their 1st fleshy opponent if they didnt start in prophecies

AB and waiting, those 2 things go hand in hand. AB could be one of the more fun things for people to do but the waiting really does ruin it over time, waiting 10-15 timer resets to get into one battle, then have 3-4 people on your team having afk'd because of the wait so you get rolled 500-100 and get shite for faction only to have to wait another 10-15. Or even better you are deep in the oppositions end and you see across from you several guild teams, the outlook is bleak to pickup a win there as well

Yeah but with more people presumably playing since it's a double weekend maybe the regular problems faced in AB won't be so bad?

Minus mobbing, no one actually capping, etc. of course.
